My practice is focused exclusively on retirement assets and other forms of deferred compensation in domestic relations matters. I partner directly with family law attorneys and manage all complex analysis and division issues in order to relieve liability from the family law practitioner.

2015 - 2022, ERISA/Employee Benefits/Tax Director for National Law Firm
Former employer is a litigation firm with 137 offices throughout the United States and Europe, and over 350 litigation attorneys. The firm’s efforts are focused primarily on domestic relations. Summarily, as employee benefits director my duties were as follows:

Created and managed tax and employee benefits team that evaluated benefits for litigation attorneys across the US; advised all firm attorneys on the application of Federal Code, ERISA, REA, HIPAA, Dept. of Labor Regulations, Internal Revenue Code, state/local/regional laws, etc; calculated compensation benefits for traditional pension plans; analyzed new statutory/regulatory developments governing deferred compensation benefits; coordinated with benefit plan committees on internal processes; reviewed and drafted memorandum re expert reports; prepared QDROs/DROs and accompanying documentation necessary for plan division.
